House Rules

This is a shared property in a quiet neighborhood.  We ask that guests keep the space clean and picked-up during their visit.  We ask that you remove garbage and recycling to marked, outdoor bins on a regular basis. Guests are asked to keep noise to a minimum between 10PM and 7:00AM.  At all times, music and TV should not be heard outside of this studio.

The property is smoke/pet/fragrance free. We request guests do not use fragrances, including but not limited to colognes, perfumes, aftershaves, fabreeze, bounce or scented detergents and soaps or essential oils.  (this is due to owners sever allergic asthma)  We require that guests not  smoke inside or outside.  We require guests not to  use colognes, perfumes or aftershaves.  Shampoo that is organic will be provided.  Acceptable soap will also be provided.  A cleaning fee of between $350.00  and $500.00 will be charged if we need to do special cleaning due to a failure of any guest who does not follow this protocol.

There is a Barbecue on the deck, please clean after use and let us know if it needs gas or you need instructions for use.

Electric, gas and water are expensive in California and we try to be as environmentally conscious as possible.  Please conserve wherever possible and turn off lights, air-conditioning and heat when not at “home”.  You will find that our appliances heat and cool the space very quickly upon your return.

LEGAL INTERNET USE ONLY: Comcast, our high-speed ISP, expressly forbids illegal downloads using bit-torrent or similar technology. Unfortunately, there have been some issues with this in the past, so we must ask our guests to agree to this policy.

Guests have access to the studio and deck.  They must park off-street along the side of the studio.  There is a private entrance from the deck close to the parking space provided.  The deck has a roof garden above it which is off-limits , as is the home’s patio and yard.  The Studio’s owners live in the main house.  There is a lighting system down a well lit driveway along the owners home should guests wish to walk at night or have visitors after dark.
